FINAL IMPRESSIONS OF NEW YORK
New York City is the most wonderful place on earth. During my experience in New York City, I had the opportunity to enjoy the different neighborhoods that form this city and make New York the best city of the world. In New York City, there is always something going on and it is for this reason that New York is called “the city that never sleeps.” If one is walking on the streets of New York there are endless things to do. If you prefer to visit a park, New York City has many parks to enjoy. One can go Washington Square Park and feel like you are in Paris for a moment because the arch this park has is similar to the one in France. If you are sports oriented and want walk or jog, New York City also offers one of the largest parks in New York, which is Central Park. Additionally, there are many parks and community gardens for people to enjoy.
New York is also the an awsome city to go clothing shopping. If you are in midtown, there are several clothing stores to choose from. If you like expensive brand clothes in Fifth Avenue you will find some of the best French and Italian brands. If you don’t want to spend too much money a trip to H & M or Kmart would be preferable for you.
If you love history, you can visit hundreds of museums in Manhattan. These will give you a good grasp of New York’s history and art. In other words, you will learn about New York and its people through art. If one is not satisfied simply visiting a museum, one can always get a tour guide that will thoroughly teach about New York City.
The architectural design and style of some of New York City’s buildings are astonishing. One can easily spend days just observing them. The City Hall Building is one of a kind, the New York Public library, the Chrysler building, and the Freedom Tower, are some examples of the spectacular buildings in New York City.
New York City’s transportation is also amazing. Anyone living or visiting New York City can go uptown and downtown in a matter of minutes. There are many different lines of trains and busses running in the city basically 24/7 a week. If you want to see a modernized and busy subway station just go to Penn Station. If you want to enjoy the architectural design of the old times of a subway station just go to the Grand Central Terminal and if you need a car ride anywhere in the city take a taxi cab or a bike.
I was also amazed with the variety of restaurants that New York has to offer. Since New York is a place made of different cultures and ethnicities, people have brought their traditions and we can enjoy food from all over the world right here in this city.
If you prefer to stroll across the Brooklyn bridge, you can enjoy the stunning skyline views. If you go further and explore Brooklyn, there are endless opportunities to enjoy. If one gets out of the city and goes to Brooklyn, there are so many wonderful places to enjoy such as Brooklyn Heights with its amazing brownstone buildings, the “Dumbo” area, Coney Island, and many more. Not only that, Brooklyn is being gentrified and one can enjoy the amazing modern buildings that have been and continue to be developed for the new comers.
Queens also offers lots of things to see. Jackson Heights is great because there are different ethnicities that add flavor to the New Yorkers. Long Island City with its museums are also interesting places to visit.
Overall, I loved New York with the colorful blossoms of the gardens and parks. The iconic Times Square, Empire State Building and museums give life to New York. Thus, New York teeming with characters on the streets, lively bars, and restaurants provide a nonstop energy and excitement to people
